長新太は日本を代表するナンセンスユーモア絵本作家である。本稿は、『ごろごろにゃーん』という作品を通して、長新太のナンセンスユーモア絵本の世界を分析したものである。 この絵本は猫が魚型の飛行機に乗って旅をするというシンプルな設定ですが、長新太の独特のナンセンスなユーモアがさまざまに試みられている。この作品には作者の純粋な遊び心と笑いと喜びの追求が詰まっている。 多彩で自由な線の描写と切除された文章で、読者の想像力を膨らませまる。絵や文章で表現される反復的な物語の流れやリズムは読者に楽しさや心地よさを感じさせ、常識や論理では予測できない物語の展開が読者を不思議なファンタジーの世界へ導く。さらに、合成と分離、規模の変化、パラドックス、偶然の出会いの発生など、さまざまなデフェイズマンのテクニックを用いることで、驚き、謎、緊張と緩和の連続が絵本の魅力を高めている。 この研究は、ナンセンスユーモア絵本の意味と価値を詳細に分析している点で意義がある。

Shinta Chou is a representative Japanese author of nonsense humor picture books. This study analyzed the world of the books through “Goro Goro Nyang”. This picture book has a simple setting of cats traveling on a fish-shaped airplane, yet Shinta Chou’s unique nonsense humor manifests in various ways. The work is filled with the author's pure spirit of play and pursuit of laughter and joy. Free line drawings and understated writing expand readers’ imaginations. The repetitive story flow and rhythm in the pictures and text make readers feel joyful and pleasant, and the unfolding of the story that cannot be predicted by common sense and logic, leading readers into a mysterious world of fantasy. In addition, by using diverse depaysement techniques such as synthesis and isolation, paradox, changes in scale, and occurrence of accidental encounters, the succession of surprise, mystery, tension, and relaxation adds to the charm of the picture book. This study is significant in its in-depth analysis of the meaning and value of nonsense humor picture books.
