연구 목적: 이 연구 목적은 외국인 관광객들에게 노출된 관광 경미 범죄피해로 인한 한국 관광 이미지 추락과 재방문율 하락 요인을 사전 차단할 수 있도록 방향성 확인하고, 싱가포르·프랑스 파리의 정책 사례 분석내용을 바탕으로 한국 관광의 기준을 모색한다. 연구 방법: 국내외 문헌적 선행연구와 한국관광공사의 불편 신고 통계자료·관광경찰대 단속 현황에서 나타난 문제점들을 확인 후 싱가포르 사례를 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 한국의 관광 불편 현황·경미 범죄피해 유형을 분석하고, 국제 관광산업이 급성장한 싱가포르와 프랑스 파리에서 지속 가능한 관광을 위해 어떤 관광기준을 세웠는가? 분석하고 쟁점을 도출하고 한국의 관광산업의 미래를 전망하였다. 결론 및 제언: ‘안전하게 관광하기에 좋은 한국’이라는 이미지를 각인시키고, 관광객들이 한국을 다시 찾을 수 있는 세계적인 관광지로 각광 받을 수 있기 위한 더 많은 유기적인 활동·조치가 필요하다.

The purpose of the study is to confirm the direction so that the factors that cause the decline in the image of Korean tourism and the decline in the revisit rate due to minor crime damage of tourism exposed to foreign tourists can be blocked in advance, and to explore the standards of Korean tourism based on the analysis of policy cases in Singapore and Paris, France. The research method analyzed the Singapore case after confirming the problems that appeared in previous domestic and overseas literature studies and the current status of the Korea Tourism Organization’s inconvenience report statistics and crackdown by the tourism police. What tourism standards were established for sustainable tourism in Singapore and Paris, France, where the international tourism industry is rapidly growing? It analyzed, drew issues, and predicted the future of the Korean tourism industry. Conclusions and suggestions need to imprint the image of ‘Korea is a good place to safely tour’ and take more organic activities and measures to make it a global tourist destination where tourists can visit Korea again.
