본 연구는 산림복지 프로그램이 발달장애 청소년의 언어(어휘, 구문, 화용) 능력에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 발달장애 청소년 20명을 실험군으로 산림복지 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 발달장애 청소년 20명을 대조군으로 산림과 관련된 의사소통 프로그램을 진행하였다. 각 프로그램 시작 전, 프로그램 진행 후, 프로그램 진행 2주 후 총 3번 산림과 관련한 어휘, 구문, 화용으로 구성된 총 30문항의 언어평가지를 실시하여 언어능력을 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단 내 어휘, 구문, 화용 평가 결과 차이를 분석한 결과, 실험군에서 구문과 화용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 대조군의 경우 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 집단별 어휘, 구문, 화용 능력의 변화를 사전과 사후, 사후와 추후 평가로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 사전 평가와 사후 평가에서 두 집단 모두 평균은 향상하였으나, 실험군에서만 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 어휘, 구문, 화용 능력 향상에 대한 시간 변화에 따른 효과를 살펴본 결과, 어휘, 구문, 화용 모두에서 시간에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 시간에 따른 집단의 주효과는 구문 능력에서만 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구는 산림복지 프로그램을 통해 발달장애 청소년의 어휘, 구문, 화용 능력의 변화를 살펴보았다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 발달장애 청소년의 언어능력에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 발달장애 청소년을 위한 산림복지 프로그램 및 교육프로그램 제작의 기초자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of forest welfare programs on the language abilities (vocabulary, syntax, pragmatic) of adolescents with developmental disabilities. Forest welfare programs were conducted with 20 adolescents with developmental disabilities as an experimental group, and forest-related communication programs were conducted with 20 adolescents with developmental disabilities as a control group. Language ability was measured by conducting a total of 30 questions of language evaluation paper-consisting of vocabulary, syntax, and pragmatics related to forests-three times before the start of each program, after the progress of the program, and two weeks after the progress of the program. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the differences in vocabulary, syntax, and pragmatic evaluation results within the group, significant differences in syntax and pragmatic were found in the experimental group, and there was no significant difference in the control group. Second, as a result of dividing the changes in vocabulary, syntax, and pragmatic ability by group into pre- and post-, post- and follow-up-evaluation, both groups improved the average-however, only the experimental group showed significant differences. Third, as a result of examining the effect of time on the improvement of vocabulary, syntax, and pragmatic ability, there was a statistically significant difference over time in all abilities, but the main effect of the group over time only showed a significant difference in syntactic ability. This study is significant in that it examined the changes in the vocabulary, syntax, and pragmatic ability of adolescents with developmental disabilities through forest welfare programs. Based on the understanding of the language ability of adolescents with developmental disabilities, it is expected to be used as basic data for the production of forest welfare programs and educational programs for adolescents with developmental disabilities.
