본 연구는 공항 서비스 직원의 테크노 불안, 감염 불안, 고용 불안이 정서적 소진 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 탐구하였다. 대상은 국내 인천, 김포, 대구, 부산, 제주 공항에서 근무하는 지상직 서비스 종사자들로, 총 248부의 설문이 최종 분석 자료로 사용되었다. 분석에는 SPSS 29 통계프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석 및 회귀분석이 시행되었다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 첫째로, 테크노 불안과 고용 불안을 제외한 감염 불안만이 정서적 소진에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째로, 테크노 불안과 고용 불안을 제외한 감염 불안만이 이직의도에 유의한 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 셋째로, 공항 서비스 직원의 정서적 소진이 이직 의도에 유의한 영향을 미침을 발견하였다. 본 연구의 이론적, 실무적 시사점으로는 공항 서비스 직원들이 직무상 느낄 수 있는 3가지 종류의 불안감을 측정하였는데, 세 가지 불안 중 감염에 대한 불안이 서비스 종사원의 정서적 안정이나 이직의도 같은 심리적 변화에 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 둘째로, 정서적 소진이 높을수록 서비스 종사자들이 이직의도를 많이 느끼고 있음을 시사한다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 불안에 대한 적절한 대응 전략을 도출하여 항공 산업 내 공항 서비스 종사자들의 복지와 심리적 안녕을 증진시키고자 한다.
The technological anxiety, infection anxiety, and economic uncertainty faced by airport service personnel pose serious challenges, potentially leading to emotional exhaustion and high turnover intentions. Accordingly, this study investigates the impact of these anxieties on emotional exhaustion and turnover intentions among airport service employees. A total of 248 ground service workers from Incheon, Gimpo, Daegu, Busan, and Jeju airports participated in the survey, which served as the final dataset for analysis. Statistical analyses including frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 29. The findings reveal that, firstly, among the three anxieties examined, only infection anxiety significantly influences emotional burnout. Secondly, excluding techno anxiety and employment anxiety, only infection anxiety significantly affects turnover intention. Thirdly, emotional burnout significantly impacts turnover intention. Based on these findings, the study aims to derive appropriate coping strategies for anxiety, thereby enhancing the well-being and psychological stability of airport service employees within the aviation industry. These findings provide important information suggesting the necessity to offer various environments in the aviation industry that can enhance understanding of the working conditions of service personnel, and help mitigate emotional exhaustion and turnover intentions.
