본 연구는 아동·청소년기 학대 피해 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 고립과 빈곤의 조절효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 “한국청소년정책연구원”에서 수행한 ‘2021년 청년 사회·경제실태조사’를 2차 자료로 사용하여 다중회귀분석방법을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 아동·청소년기 학대와 같은 부정적인 경험은 청년의 우울에 영향을 미쳤으며, 사회적 고립은 두 변인 관계의 조절효과로 작용하였다. 그러나 청년 빈곤의 조절효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 청년기의 우울 예방하기 위한 개입전략을 학대 피해 경험과 사회적 고립을 중심으로 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effects of social isolation and poverty on the relationship between experiences of child and adolescent abuse and depression. Using data from the ‘2021 Youth Social and Economic Survey’conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute, secondary data analysis was performed through multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that negative experiences such as child and adolescent abuse had an impact on youth depression, and social isolation acted as a moderating effect in the relationship between the two variables. However, the moderating effect of youth poverty was not significant. Based on these findings, intervention strategies for preventing depression in youth were suggested, focusing on experiences of abuse and social isolation during adolescence
