연구목적 이 연구의 목적은 세계태권도연맹(WT)과 국제태권도연맹(ITF)의 현황 진단을 통한 통합 전략을 제시하는 것이다. 연구방법 연구방법은 문헌고찰과 심층면담 기법을 적용하였으며 국기원 파견사범 총 5명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 결과 연구결과는 총 2개로 구성되었다. 첫째, 세계태권도연맹과 국제태권도연맹의 현황 둘째, 문제점 고찰로서 국제무대에서의 역량 차이와 경기규정 및 기술의 차이이다. 결론 이 연구를 비롯하여 앞으로 진행될 관련 연구들은 기존에 발행된 선행연구들이 나타내고 있는 결과와 달리 현시대상황을 반영한 연구로 이루어져야 할 것이며 지금까지는 태권도의 가치, 정신의 회복 등 무형적이고 상징성을 강조하였다면 세계태권도연맹과 국제태권도연맹이 통합하였을 때 나타날 수 있는 이익을 가시화하는데 초점을 맞추어야 할 것이다.

PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to present an integrated strategy by diagnosing the current status of the World Taekwondo Federation (WT) and the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF). METHOD The research method applied literature review and in-depth interview techniques, and a total of 5 Kukkiwon dispatched masters were selected as research subjects. RESULT The research results consisted of two parts. First, the current status of the World Taekwondo Federation and the International Taekwondo Federation. Second, as an examination of problems, there are differences in capabilities and competition regulations and techniques on the international stage. CONCLUSION This study, as well as related studies to be conducted in the future, should be con ducted in a way that reflects the current situation, unlike the results shown in previously published studies. Until now, the World Taekwondo has emphasized the intangible and symbolic aspects such as the value of Taekwondo and the recovery of spirit. The focus should be on visualizing the benefits that can arise when the and the International Taekwondo Federation are integrated.
