Purpose - This study aims to analyze the impact of participation in career exploration programs and job preparation behavior on employment performance for majoring in tourism&MICE for the successful employment performance.
Design, data, and methodology - GOMS 2018 and 2020 data were analyzed. Linear regress ion analysis, logistic regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 24 and STATA SE-64. Result - In 2018, employment camps affect the wages of current jobs, and in 2020, job fairs, interview skills resume programs, job camps, NCS, competition, certification, external activities, and appearance management affect wages. As a result of analyzing the impact of job preparation experience on employment type, the certification had a significant impact on employment in 2018, that preparation for competitions, external activities had a significant impact on employment in tourism&MICE in 2020.
Conclusions - It was found that 2020 graduates should participate in more career exploration programs, act to prepare for employment for high wages and employment patterns.
