본 연구는 한국어 교육학 분야의 쓰기 피드백 연구에 사용된 연구 방법론과 연구 방법별로 연구 유형을 파악하고 분류하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 김영규(2018)에서 제안하고 전경선(2023)에서 수정·보완된 한국어 교육학 분야의 연구 유형 분류 틀을 바탕으로 2000년부터 2023년까지 수행된 총 126편의 연구물을 분석한 결과를 통해 일차적 연구가 이차적 연구보다 많이 수행되었고, 혼합 연구 > 양적 연구 > 질적 연구 순으로 연구가 수행되었음을 알 수 있었다. 혼합 연구의 경우에도 양적 연구 방법과 질적 연구 방법에 동일한 비중을 둔 (순수한) 혼합 연구가 가장 많이 수행되었고, 양적 혼합 연구와 질적 혼합 연구는 상대적으로 적게 수행되었음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 향후 한국어 교육학 분야에서 쓰기 피드백에 관한 연구는 다양한 이차 연구가 수행되어야 하며, 다양한 질적 연구 접근 방법이 사용될 필요가 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 연구 유형 분류 틀의 경우 검토할 연구 영역의 주제별 성격을 반영하도록 수정될 필요가 있다.

This study aimed to identify and classify the types of studies by research methodology and methods used in written feedback research in the field of Teaching Korean to Speakers of Other Languages (TKSOL). Based on the classification framework for research types in the TKSOL field as proposed by Jun (2023), a revision of Kim (2018), a total of 126 studies published from 2000 to 2023 were analyzed, and the results showed that (1) primary research was more common than secondary research; and (2) mixed research, quantitative research, and qualitative research were conducted in this order of frequency. For mixed research studies, it was found that (pure) mixed research studies were the most common, while quantitative mixed research studies and qualitative research mixed studies were relatively rare. Based on these findings, it is recommended that future research on written feedback should include a variety of secondary studies and use a variety of qualitative research approaches. In addition, the framework for research type classification needs to be revised to reflect the topic-specific nature of the research domains to be reviewed.
