본고는 독자의 텍스트 이해에서의 특개성에 대하여 고찰하였다. 들뢰즈과 과타리의 『천 개의 고원』 10장(제목: 1730년 ― 강열하게 되기, 동물-되기, 지각 불가능하게-되기)의 ‘어느 <이것임>의 회상’을 토대로 하였다. 특개성(이것임)은 지각자가 사건(대상)의 본질을 자기만 고유한 개체성을 가지고 지각한 지각체의 속성이다. ‘나름대로 완전하고 무엇 하나 결핍이 없는 개체성을 가진 것’으로 정의할 수 있다. 이 특개성은 이질적 요소들이 배치를 이룬 사건 속에서 지각자가 몸체로 그 본질에 감응하여 포착한다. 이 특개성을 포착함으로써 지각자는 자기 생성을 하는 되기를 실현한다. 독자도 텍스트 이해에서 특개성을 포착하여 자기 생성을 한다. 이를 위해서 독자는 읽기 몸체를 가져야 한다. 또한 텍스트를 읽을 때 요소들의 배치를 바꾸어 새로운 읽기 사건을 만들어야 한다. 이 읽기 사건의 본질에 감응하여 독자만의 개체성이 있는 의미인 특개성을 포착할 수 있다. 이 특개성의 포착으로 독자는 자기를 새롭게 생성하게 된다. 독자는 텍스트의 내용에 읽기 몸체의 좌표를 접속해 특개성을 포착하고 자기 생성을 이룰 때 진정한 읽기를 하게 된다.

This paper explored the haecceity of readers’ text understanding. Based on Deleuze and Guattari’s 『A Thousand Plateaus』 Chapter 10, ‘Memories of a haecceity’. The haecceity is a property of the perceptual content in which a person perceived the essence of an event (object) with his or her own unique individuality. It can be defined as ‘have a perfect individuality lacking nothing’. This haecceity is that the individual’s body captures its essence in the event caused by the arrangement of various elements. By capturing this haecceity, the person realizes a self-generating being. The reader also captures the haecceity in text understanding. For this, the reader must have a reading body. Also, when reading the text, the arrangement of the elements must be changed to create a new reading event. By responding to the essence of this reading event, it is possible to capture the haecceity, which is the meaning of the individuality of the reader. With the capture of this haecceity, the reader can truly read by creating himself a new.
