Considering the innate nature of artificial intelligence novels, this paper covers both their contents and technical aspects, including the AI programs employed and the extent of human intervention. This entails not only a critical examination of the narrative and thematic elements of AI novels but also thorough understanding of the generation process of artificial intelligence novels, such as what data was trained with, how AI machines were built, etc. In light of this, the three novels (Pharmako-AI(202A), The World from Now (2021), and / on the Road (2018)) will be discussed, which clearly reveal the underlying principles of how the texts were generated in the preface of the texts. These three Ai-generated novels exhibit distinct literary characteristics stemming from the differences in AI technology used in their generation and human involvement. Through this examination, this paper wants to shed light on the unique features of AI literature, assess its current state, and speculate on the future trajectory of AI in novel-writing.
