본 연구는 전공계열별 전공-직무 일치에 따른 취업 성과(임금, 일자리 만족도)의 차이 분석과 전공계열별 전공-직무 일치 결정요인의 탐색을 통해 전공계열별 진로 및 취업 준비교육을 위한 실제적 정보를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 고용노동부와 한국고용정보원에서 제공하는 청년패널2021(YP 2021) 1차 조사자료를 활용하고, 분석 방법으로 이원분산분석과 랜덤포레스트를 실행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 전공-직무 일치에 따른 취업성과(임금, 일자리 만족도)의 차이를 확인하였다. 둘째, 전공-직무 일치에 영향을 미치는 요인 간 중요도는 전공계열별로 차이를 확인하였다. 셋째, 대부분 전공계열에서 직무자격증, 취업이유, 대학소재지, 구직경로, 직무경험은 중요도 순위가 상위권이며, 성별, 학점, 대학만족도, 전공만족도, 진로/취업지도, 부학력은 중요도 순위가 하위권으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 전공계열별 전공-직무 일치를 높일 수 있는 구체적 전략을 제안하였다.

This study explores the differences in employment outcomes, such as wages and job satisfaction, by major field and major-job congruence, as well as the determinants of major-job congruence within each major field. Using data from the first wave of the Youth Panel 2021 (YP 2021), provided by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service, this study employs a two-way ANOVA and random forest analysis. The results indicate significant differences in employment outcomes based on major-job congruence. Additionally, the importance of determinants of major-job congruence varies by major field. In most major fields, job qualifications, reasons for employment, university location, job search information routes, and job experience are ranked at the top of the importance rankings, whereas gender, GPA, university satisfaction, major satisfaction, career guidance, and parental education are ranked at the bottom. Based on these findings, this study suggests specific strategies to improve major-job congruence by major field.
