이 연구는 해체주의에 의해 해체된 저자를 부활시켜 저자 중심의 해석을 부활시키고자 하는 케빈 밴후저(Kevin J. Vanhoozer, 1957~ )의 신학적 해석학을 고찰한다. 해체주의자 데리다는 의미론을 “차연”의 기호론으로 대체하였는데 이는 오랫동안 교회가 견지해 온 저자중심의 성경해석에 심각한 영향을 끼쳤다. 신적 저자에게 영감 받은 인간저자에 의해 무오하게 기록되었다고 인정되던 성경의 권위는 실추되었고, 독자들의 주관적인 해석으로 인해 저자가 의도한 의미는 위협받게 되었다. 밴후저는 종교개혁의 통찰들을 재천명하면서 언어행위철학에 대한 창의적 재발견을 통해 신적 소통행위 모델의 신학적 해석학으로 저자중심 해석을 복원하고 자 한다. 밴후저의 작업은 크게 두 축으로 나눌 수 있다. 첫 번째 축은 데리다의 저자해체에 대한 분석과 비판이다. 두 번째 축은 데리다의 저자해체 논증을 반박하며 데리다에게서 해체된 저자를 학제간 연구들을 통해 커뮤니케이션 작인자로 부활시키는 논증이다. 이 논문의 첫 번째 목표는 커뮤니케이션 작인자로 부활한 저자가, 근대적 저자와 해체주의의 의미비실재론을 극복하며, 교회가 전통적으로 지지해 온 저자중심의 성경해석학을 더 나은 방식으로 회복시키는 과정을 보여주는 것이고, 두 번째 목표는 밴후저의 신학적 해석학이 복음주의노선과 개혁신학에 부합하는 성경해석학임을 주장하며 전망을 타진하는 것이다.

This study examines Kevin Vanhoozer’s theological hermeneutics, which seeks to revive an author-centered interpretation by resurrecting the author that has been deconstructed by deconstructionism. Deconstructionist Jacques Derrida replaced semantics with a semiotics of différance, which had a serious impact on the author-centered biblical interpretation that has long been upheld by the church. The authority of the Bible, long recognized as inerrantly recorded by human authors inspired by the divine author, has been undermined, and the intended meaning by the author has been jeopardized by the subjective interpretations of readers. Vanhoozer aims to restore authorcentered interpretation by reaffirming the insights of the Reformation and through a creative rediscovery of Speech Act Theory, advancing a theological hermeneutics of the divine communicative act model. Vanhoozer’s work can be divided into two main axes. The first axis is an analysis and critique of Derrida’s deconstructionist approach to the author. The second axis is an argument that refutes Derrida’s logic of author deconstruction and revives the author deconstructed by Derrida as a communication agent through interdisciplinary studies. The first objective of this paper is to show that the author, as the communicative agent, can transcend the anti-realism of deconstructionism and modern authorship, and restore the author-centered interpretation of the Bible that the church has traditionally supported in a better way. The second objective is to demonstrate that Vanhoozer’s theological hermeneutics align with the Evangelical trajectory and Reformed theology in biblical interpretation, while also gauging its prospects.
