이 연구는 수영 참여자의 수영 유튜브 시청에 따른 수영 유튜브 콘텐츠 특성과 관여도 및 지속참여의도의 관계를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 수영을 즐기면서 유튜브 시청 경험이 있는 수영 참여자를 모집단으로 선정하여 총 340명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 편의표본추출법을 통해 표본을 추출하였고, 신뢰성이 떨어진다고 판단되는 100부를 제외하고, 총 240부에 대한 자료분석을 실시하였다. 결과분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 22.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 일원변량분석, Scheff 사후검증(Post-hoc test), 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 수영 유튜브 콘텐츠 특성은 부분적으로 관여도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 수영 유튜브 콘텐츠 특성은 지속참여의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 관여도는 지속참여의도에 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서, 수영 참여자들의 수영 유튜브 콘텐츠 시청 특성을 파악하고 이를 토대로 호의적인 관여도의 형성 및 지속적인 참여 유발을 위한 효과적인 마케팅 전략을 수립해야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between swimming YouTube content characteristics and swimmers’ engagement and intention to continue watching swimming YouTube. To accomplish these objectives, a total of 340 swimmers who were experienced in watching YouTube while enjoying swimming were selected as the sample and a survey was conducted. The sample was selected through convenience sampling, and a total of 240 questionnaires were analyzed, excluding 100 that were deemed unreliable. To analyze the results, descriptive statistics, univariate analysis, Scheff post-hoc test, and structural equation model analysis were conducted using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results showed that, first, swimming YouTube content characteristics had a significant effect on partial engagement. Second, swimming YouTube content characteristics had no significant effect on continuance intention. Third, involvement had a positive effect on continuance intention. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the characteristics of swimming YouTube content viewing by swimming participants and to develop effective marketing strategies to create favorable engagement and continuous engagement based on these characteristics.
