이 연구의 목적은 스포츠윤리학의 연구 방법으로서‘성찰적 읽기와 비판적 읽기’를 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 그동안 연구된 관련된 문헌을 인용하고 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 그동안 스포츠윤리의 연구 방법은 문헌 연구, 비판연구, 현상학적 연구, 해석학 연구, 동향 연구 등 다른 학문과 유사한 연구 방법을 사용하였다. 따라서 스포츠윤리만의 고유한 연구 방법이 없었다. 이러한 맥락에서 나는 스포츠윤리의 고유한 연구 방법으로서 읽기에 주목했다. 철학은 성찰과 비판이며, 인간의 자아는 주체적 자아와 사회적 자아로 구분할 수 있다. 주체적 자아는 본질적 자아이며 사회적 자아는 관계로 형성된 자아이다. 주체적 자아는 성찰을 지향하며 사회적 자아는 비판적이다. 또한, 자아는 도덕적 자율성과 제도적 강제력에 의해서 움직인다. 이러한 맥락에서 읽기를 시도하였다. 읽기는 성찰적 읽기와 비판적 읽기로 구분하였다. 개인적 차원으로서 성찰적 읽기는 인식 전환을 지향하고, 사회적 차원으로서 비판적 읽기는 체육개혁을 지향한다. 더 나은 체육계를 위해서 변화가 필요하며 이러한 변화는 인식 전환과 체육개혁을 통해 실현할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to propose reflective and critical reading as a new research methodology for sports ethics. To this end, related literature that has been studied so far was analyzed. The results are as follows. Until now, research methods of sports ethics have used similar research methods to other disciplines, such as literature research, critical research, phenomenological research, thought research, and trend research. Therefore, it can be said that there was no unique research method of sports ethics. I focused on reading as a unique research method of sports ethics. Philosophy is reflection and criticism. The human self can be divided into a subjective self and a social self. The subjective self is the inner self and the self formed by the outside of society. The subjective self aims for reflection, and the social self is critical. This self is driven by moral autonomy and institutional coercion. Reading is attempted in this context. Reading is for all texts. The reading was divided into reflective reading and critical reading. Reflective reading as an individual level aims for cognitive transformation, and critical reading as a social level aims for institutional reform. If change is needed for a better society, these changes can be realized through cognitive transformation and institutional reform.
