본 연구는 체계적 문헌 고찰의 방법으로 (한)국어교육 분야에서 개념적 은유와 관련된 연구의 성과들을 종합적으로 검토하여 그 연구 동향을 분석한 것이다. 개념적 은유는 (한)국어교육 분야에서 상당한 양의 연구 성과가 축적되었고, 질적으로도 심화된 논의들이 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 총 5단계의 문헌 검색과 선정의 과정을 거쳐 (한)국어교육 분야의 개념적 은유 연구 성과로 82건을 최종적으로 확정하였다. 확정된 검토 대상을 교육 목적에 따라 L1 교육인 국어교육과 L2 교육인 한국어교육으로 분류하는 한편, 분석 초점을 연구 목적, 연구 주제, 연구 방법으로 세분화하여 그 주요 특징을 파악하였다. 연구 목적의 경우, ‘은유의 교육’보다는 ‘은유를 활용한 교육’에 대한 연구가 세 배 정도 더 이루어졌다. 연구 주제의 경우, ‘신체’, ‘마음’ 등의 하위 주제와 특정 문법 개념, 어휘의 의미 범주에 대해 주로 다루어졌는데 특히 한국어교육에서 이러한 특징이 분명히 드러난다. 연구 방법의 경우, 주로 텍스트 분석 방법이 쓰였으며 말뭉치 분석이나 조사 및 실험 연구도 다양하게 시도되고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 개념적 은유가 (한)국어 교육의 주요한 주제임을 환기하고, 연구 목적별 연구 편중 현상의 개선, 연구 주제의 다변화와 질적 심화, 연구 방법의 창의적 고도화 등을 논의 사항으로 제시하였다.

This study comprehensively reviewed the results of research related to conceptual metaphors in the field of Korean education(L1/L2) as a method of systematic review and analyzed the research trends. The conceptual metaphor is that a considerable amount of research results have been accumulated in the field of Korean education, and qualitatively advanced discussions are being conducted. In this study, 82 cases were finally confirmed as the results of conceptual metaphor research in the field of Korean education(L1/L2) through a total of five stages of literature search and selection. The main characteristics were identified by subdividing the analysis focus into research purposes, research topics, and research methods, while the confirmed review subjects were classified into Korean education(L1), and Korean education(L2) according to the educational purpose. In the case of research purposes, about three times more research has been conducted on “education using metaphor” than “education of metaphor” In the case of research topics, sub-topics such as ‘body’ and ‘mind’ were mainly dealt with, as well as specific grammatical concepts and vocabulary semantic categories, especially in Korean education(L2). In the case of research methods, text analysis methods were mainly used, and corpus analysis, survey, and experimental studies are also being attempted in various ways. Through this study, conceptual metaphors are a major topic of Korean education(L1/L2), and improvement of research bias by research purpose, diversification and qualitative deepening of research topics, and creative advancement of research methods were presented as discussions.
