Case Study on Employment Guidance in the Cheonghaejin Preliminary Course for Employment in Japan: Focusing on Operation Methods and Satisfaction Surveys of Employment Camps

In this study, we present the operational methods of employment camps conducted in the preparatory course of the “Cheonghaejin (Youth Overseas Expansion) Project,“ a government-funded overseas employment initiative. We analyzed the effectiveness of these camps based on a satisfaction survey among trainees. The purpose of these camps is to facilitate self-analysis and resume writing through output activities and mock interviews. The survey results suggest that output activities based on collaborative learning led to content revision and new insights, effectively promoting in-depth self-analysis. Furthermore, in mock interviews, many students highlighted the benefits of real interview experiences and the professors' feedback. The utility of implementing mock interviews during the preparatory phase was thus demonstrated.
