本論文は韓国の日本学の役割と新しい研究領域創出のために近代時期の大邱研究と教育事例を整理したものだ。近代時期の研究は日本学が韓国の外国学領域で特性を発揮できる重要領域だ。韓国の近代は植民地の歴史が最も大きな特徴であり、日本は近代東アジアのすべての帝国主義戦争と植民主義侵略を主導し、韓半島は常にその直接対象として侵略と収奪の中心にあったためだ。一方、地域単位の近代時期の研究は、日本学が韓国の外国学として韓国社会に貢献できるもう一つの重要な領域である。韓半島の個別地域が近代時期にどのような特殊性を形成したのかを把握する過程は、地域の形成過程に対する理解を提供すると同時に、現時点で活用できる都市文化コンテンツを提供するだろう。本論文はこのような問題意識から近代時期の大邱研究の重要性、大邱再造日本人研究事例、大邱地域日本語記録物研究事例、そして教育プログラム事例を整理して提示した。

This paper summarizes the research and educational cases of Daegu in the modern period to create new research areas and the role of Japanese studies in Korea. Research in the modern period is an important area where Japanese studies can demonstrate their characteristics in the foreign studies field of Korea. This is because the colonial history of Korea is the biggest feature, Japan led all imperial wars and colonial invasions in modern East Asia, and the Korean Peninsula was always at the center of invasion and exploitation as a direct target. Meanwhile, regional-level modern period research is another important area in which Japanese studies can contribute to Korean society as a foreign study of Korea. The process of grasping the specificity of individual regions on the Korean Peninsula formed in the modern period will provide an understanding of the regional formation process and at the same time provide urban cultural contents that can be used in the present time. In this awareness of the problem, this paper summarizes the importance of Daegu research in the modern period, the case of Daegu re-Jo-Japanese research, the case of Japanese language records research in the Daegu area, and the case of educational programs.
