이 연구는 최근 e스포츠 산업이 급격한 성장을 이루는 가운데, e스포츠이벤트의 품질이 참가자들의 스포츠 몰입에 미치는 영향과 이에 따른 지속 의지에 대해 검증하였습니다. 또한, 스포츠 몰입이 지속 의지에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, e스포츠이벤트 품질의 구성 요소 중 지속 의지에 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증적으로 분석했습니다. SERVPERF 모델을 사용하여 품질 요소를 평가한 결과는 다음과 같습니다: 먼저, e스포츠이벤트의 물리적 환경과 결과 품질이 참가자들의 스포츠 몰입에 유의하고 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤습니다. 둘째로, 참가자들의 스포츠 몰입을 구성하는 인지 몰입과 행동 몰입이 모두 참가자들의 지속 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤습니다. 마지막으로, e스포츠이벤트 품질의 결과 품질과 물리적 환경 품질이 지속 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 그 중에서도 결과 품질이 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤습니다. 이 연구를 통해 제안된 e스포츠이벤트 품질의 영향은 참가자들의 스포츠 몰입과 지속 의지에 대한 다양한 함의를 제공하여 보다 효과적이고 생산적인 전략을 수립하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대되며 e스포츠 산업의 학술적 탐구를 넘어 관광문화콘텐츠로의 실용적인 적용에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대됩니다.

This study aims to explore the influence of e-sports event quality on participants' sports immersion and subsequent intention to persist, amid the recent rapid growth of the e-sports industry, with the goal of expanding and utilizing e-sports events as tourism cultural content. Additionally, it investigated how sports immersion affects intention to persist and empirically analyzed factors among the components of e-sports event quality that influence intention to persist. Evaluation of quality factors was conducted using the SERVPERF model, yielding the following results: Firstly, the physical environment and outcome quality of e-sports events significantly and positively impacted participants' sports immersion. Secondly, both cognitive and behavioral immersion, constituting participants' sports immersion, positively affected their intention to persist. Lastly, the outcome quality and physical environment quality of e-sports event quality positively influenced intention to persist, with outcome quality exerting the greatest influence. The proposed impact of e-sports event quality in this study is expected to provide various implications for participants' sports immersion and intention to persist, contributing to the formulation of more effective and productive strategies. Furthermore, this research is anticipated to offer practical applications in the field of tourism cultural content beyond academic exploration, fostering sustained growth and innovation in the e-sports industry by promoting further understanding of how to enhance the e-sports experience and encourage ongoing participation among participants. Overall, this study endeavors to offer a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between e-sports event quality, sports immersion, and intention to persist, with the aim of providing valuable insights for both academia and industry stakeholders.
