본 연구는 탈근대의 건축 공간을 고정되지 않고 지속적인 변화의 개념으로 보고 변화하는 관계 네트워크로 공간 요소를 이해하고 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 연구의 목적은 관계성이라는 관점에서 렘 콜하스의 작품에 나타난 공간적 특성을 밝히는 동시에 공간 구성 전략을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 렘 콜하스의 인터뷰 및 작품발표에서 나온 관계성에 대한 고찰과 건축적 접근 방법을 살펴보았다. 결과적으로 렘 콜하스의 조직화에 의해 경직된 프로그램을 거부하고 가능성이 내재된 관계성을 건축공간의 활성화 목적으로 활용하고 있다는 점을 밝히며 렘 콜하스의 사용자의 행위 유발 전략 등을 사용했음을 확인할 수 있었다.
