본 연구는 고등학교 1학년의 진로적응력에 영향을 미치는 변인들로 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 우울, 학업무기력을 설정하고 이들 간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 한국아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 2018 중1패널의 4차년도 자료를 활용하여, 고1학생 2,275명의 자료를 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 26.0으로 분석하였다. 먼저 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 측정모형의 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 각 변인들 간의 관계를 검증하기 위해 구조모형의 적합도를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 연구모형에서 다중매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 팬텀변수를 이용한 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 부모의 부정적 양육태도는 청소년의 진로적응력에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 진로적응력 간의 관계에서 청소년의 우울 및 학업무기력의 개별매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 진로적응력 간의 관계에서 청소년의 우울과 학습무기력의 순차적 이중매개효과가 나타났다. 종합하여, 부모의 부정적 양육태도가 청소년의 진로적응력에 미치는 직접효과와 청소년의 우울과 학업무기력이 순차적 매개를 통해 진로적응력에 영향을 미치는 간접효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 부정적인 양육태도가 여러 측면에서 진로적응력을 저해하는 선행변인이며, 우울 및 학업무기력과 함께 진로적응력에 순차적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혔다. 적극적으로 진로 방향을 고민해야 하는 고등학교 1학년 시기에 진로 준비에 대한 적응력을 높여줄 수 있는 방안에 대한 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to identify variables affecting career adaptability in first-year high school students, including parents’ negative parenting attitudes(NPA), depression, and academic helplessness, and to analyze the structural relationships among them. The data of 2,275 high school freshmen, taken from the 4th year of KCYPS 2018(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018) were finally analyzed. Descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, verification of measurement model and structural equation model were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, NPA directly affected adolescents’ career adaptability. Second, the relationship between NPA and career adaptability revealed individual mediating effects of adolescents’ depression and academic helpessness. Third, in the relationship between NPA and career adaptability, there was a sequential dual mediating effect of adolescents’ depression and academic helpessness. In sum, the direct effect of NPA on adolescents’ career adaptability and the indirect effect of adolescents’ depression and academic helplessness on career adaptability through sequential dual mediation were verified. The result revealed that NPA is a leading variable that hinders career adaptability in many aspects and that depression and academic helplessness have a sequential negative effect on career adaptability. These findings can be used as a basis for establishing a plan that can better facilitate students’ adaptability to career preparation in the first year of high school when they have to actively consider their career direction.
