연구목적 본 연구는 인천시티발레단의 동화 뮤지컬 발레작품인 [빨간모자]를 대상으로 작품의 표현적 특징 등을 분석하고 이 작품이 어린이들에게 줄 수 있는 교육적 가치가 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다.. 연구방법 선행연구고찰을 통한 [빨간모자]의 이론적 배경을 서술한 뒤 [빨간모자]의 작품을 직접 보고 이를 비디오로 녹화하였다. 그 후 이를 수 차례 다시 보면서 작품을 분석하여 결과를 추론 질적 연구이다. 결과 첫째, 발레와 뮤지컬의 콜라보로 이루어졌으며 이는 발레라는 순수 예술장르에 뮤지컬이라는 대중적인 예술을 가미함으로써 작품에 대한 이해를 돕고 관람객들의 공감도를 높이기 위함이다. 둘째, 공연의 상호텍스트성으로 작품 [빨간모자]에서는 무대와 객석의 경계를 허물어 관객과 무용수가 서로 소통이 되는 안무와 연출을 구성하였다. 이는 상호텍스트성 관계에 의해 관객과 무용수가 서로 하나의 연결망을 구축함으로써 작품의도나 주제를 명확히 드러나게 한다. 셋째, 발레작품 공연의 재해석이다. [빨간모자]는 원작의 내용과 조금 다르게 해석하여 결말을 해피엔딩으로 맺고 있으며, 대중성과 예술성을 겸비해 관객의 공감을 받도록 재해석하였다.[빨간모자]의 교육적 가치로는 첫째, 융합예술 교육의 가치이다. 작품 [빨간모자]는 뮤지컬과 무용 그리고 대사가 나오는 연극 등의 예술 장르를 융합한 공연으로, 한 장르의 예술이 갖는 종합예술보다 몇 개 장르의 예술이 융합하여 공연함으로써 시너지효과가 크고 그 교육적 효과도 배가되도록 하고 있다. 둘째, [빨간모자]는 어린이들에게 친절하게 다가오는 낯선 사람을 경계해야 한다는 사회 교육적 가치를 지니고 있다. 셋째, [빨간모자]의 정서적 교육가치이다. 발레무용극인 [빨간모자]의 주제 표현 활동은 인간 행동의 기저가 되는 정서를 표현하며 그것을 감상하는 어린이들에게 공동체 사고활동을 포함하여 자기실현, 자기표현의 욕구를 분출하게 함으로써 정서적인 안정에 도움을 준다. 결론 인천시티발레단의 작품 [빨간모자]는 샤를 페로(Charles Perrault)원작을 바탕으로 만든 뮤지컬 발레로 실제로 무용실기 교육에 참여하지 않더라도 무용공연감상을 통해 어린이들은 지적, 사회적, 정서적 교육을 할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

Purpose This study aimed to analyze the expressive characteristics of Incheon City Ballet's fairy tale musical ballet, [Little Red Hood], and examine the educational value that this work can provide to children. Methods The research method was to describe the theoretical background of [Little Red Hood] through a review of previous research, then watch the work of [Little Red Hood] in person and record it on video. Afterwards, I analyzed the work by re-watching it several times. Result First, it is a collaboration between ballet and musical, which is intended to help understand the work and increase empathy among visitors. Second, due to the intertextuality of the performance, the work [Little Red Hood] broke down the boundary between the stage and the audience to create choreography and production that allowed the audience and dancers to communicate with each other. Third, [Little Red Hood] is interpreted a little differently from the original work and has a happy ending. The first educational value is the value of convergence arts education. Second, [Little Red Hood] has social and educational value, telling children to be wary of strangers who approach them kindly. Third, the thematic expression activities of [Little Red Hood] help children's emotional stability by expressing the emotions that underlie human behavior. Conclusion As can be seen from the results of this study, it can be seen that even if children do not actually participate in practical dance education, they can receive intellectual, social, and emotional education through watching dance performances.
