연구배경 교육은 개인의 역량을 끌어내어 문제를 효과적으로 대처하고 상황에 적응하게 한다. 문제 해결의 태도를 함양할 수 있도록 하는 것이 창의성이다. 디자인의 문제 해결 영역에서 창의적인 아이디어를 도출하기 위해 여러 방법이 사용된다. 여러 창의적 발상법 중 시네틱스의 효과성에 관해 연구하고자 한다. 연구방법 부산에 있는 국립대학교 디자인학과 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 시네틱스 기법을 활용한 시각디자인 수업을 통해 시네틱스 기법의 효과성을 검증하고자 했다. 시네틱스 기법으로 문제 해결을 위한 아이디어 발상과정을 통해 포스터를 디자인하게 하였다. 이 과정은 활동지와 설문지를 통해 이루어졌다. 설문조사는 4가지 문항으로 이루어져 리커트 7점 척도로 응답하였다. 연구결과 활동지 결과로는 환상적 유추와 직접적 유추기법이 가장 많이 사용되었으며 이는 유추를 통해 친숙한 것을 낯선 것으로 전환하거나 낯선 것을 친숙하게 전환하는 방법이 창의적인 사고와 문제 해결 방법에 효과적이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 설문지 결과로는 시네틱스 기법을 활용한 아이디어 발상법에 대한 만족도와 시네틱스 기법을 활용하여 문제 해결을 위해 제작한 포스터 결과물에 대한 만족도가 전반적으로 높았다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 창의적 발상 기법 중 한 가지인 시네틱스 기법의 효과가 긍정적인 것을 알 수 있다. 추후 포스터 디자인에 국한되지 않은 다양한 영역에서 더 많은 학생을 대상으로 연구한다면 더욱 의미 있는 연구가 될 것이다.

Background Education brings out individual capabilities to effectively deal with problems and adapt to situations. Creativity is what allows you to develop a problem-solving attitude. Several methods are used to generate creative ideas in the problem-solving area of design. We would like to study the effectiveness of synectics among various creative ideation methods. Methods We sought to verify the effectiveness of synetics techniques through a visual design class using synetics techniques for first-year design students in Busan. The poster was designed through the process of generating ideas to solve problems using the synectics technique. This process was conducted through activity sheets and questionnaires. The survey consisted of four questions and was answered on a 7-point Likert scale. Result As a result of the activity sheet, fantastic analogy and direct analogy techniques were used the most, and it was found that converting the familiar into the unfamiliar or the unfamiliar into the familiar through analogy is effective in creative thinking and problem solving. As a result of the questionnaire, overall satisfaction with the idea generation method using synetics techniques and the poster results produced to solve problems using synetics techniques were high. Conclusion Through this study, it can be seen that the effect of the synectics technique, one of the creative ideation techniques, is positive. Future research will be more meaningful if more students are studied in various areas not limited to poster design.
