본*연구는 교육현장에서 유아교육을 실천하고 있는 유아교사들이 미래사회를 살아갈 유아들이 어떤 역량을 갖는 것이 필요한지, 이 역량을 함양하기 위해 유아교육 단계에서 가르칠 필요가 있다고 생각하는 교육내용이 무엇이라고 생각하고 있는 지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 미래교육에 대한 개방형 질문에 대하여 유아교사들이 답한 내용을 의미연결망 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미래사회 필요한 유아의 핵심역량 빈도와 중심성 분석 결과 유아교사들은 ‘창의성’을 미래시대를 살아갈 유아들이 가져야 하는 가장 중요한 핵심 역량으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 창의성을 중심으로 자기주도력, 문제해결능력, 놀이성 등의 핵심어가 서로 연결된 인식구조로 나타났다. 둘째, 미래사회 준비를 위해 가르칠 필요가 있는 교육내용 빈도와 중심성 분석 결과 유아교사는 유아교육 단계에서 가르칠 필요가 있는 교육내용으로 ‘자기주도학습’을 꼽았으며, ‘창의력’을 중심으로 ‘자기주도학습’과 ‘놀이중심교육’, ‘더불어 살아가기’가 연계되어 구조화되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 급변하는 미래사회를 살아갈 유아들이 갖추어야할 핵심역량은 ‘창의성’이며, 미래 인재상에 요구되는 창의력을 신장하기 위한 교육이 유아교육 단계에서 제공해야 함을 시사한다.

This study aimed to determine what competencies are needed for children to live in the future society, and what educational content are needed to be taught at the early childhood education stage to develop these competencies. To achieve this, this study analyzed the answers given by early childhood teachers to open-ended questions about future education and analyzed the data using the semantic network method. The results were as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the frequency and centrality of children’s core competencies needed in the future society, it was found that early childhood teachers recognized ‘creativity’ as the most important core competency that children who will live in the future era should have. Focusing on creativity, key words such as self-direction, problem-solving ability, and playfulness appeared as an interconnected cognitive structure. Second, as a result of analyzing the frequency and centrality of educational content that needs to be taught to prepare for the future society, early childhood teachers selected ‘self-directed learning’ as the educational content that needs to be taught at the early childhood education stage. And It was found that ‘self-directed learning’, ‘play-centered education’, and ‘living together’ were linked and structured around ‘creativity’. These results suggest that ‘creativity’ is a core competency that children must have to live in a rapidly changing future society, and that education to enhance the creativity required for future should be provided at the early childhood education stage.
