제4차 산업시대의 도래와 함께 유휴복합문화시설은 다양한 콘텐츠의 도입을 통해 문화, 예술, 교육, 식음, 교류, 소통 등의 기능을 갖추며 해당 지역의 특징과 정체성을 선명하게 변화시킬 수 있는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 유휴산업시설의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘하여 지속 가능하고 의미 있는 개조가 이루어지려면 공간의 구성 요소, 색상 및 노후화된 마감재에 대한 심리적 영향, 시설의 원기능 및 현기능 등의 분석을 통해 어떤 요소가 소비자의 감성과 경험에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 유휴복합문화시설의 공간적 요소로 인한 감성을 어휘로 추출하고 분석하여 유휴복합문화시설을 방문한 소비자들이 선호하는 감성을 파악하고, 해당 특성에 부합하는 공간 연출 방향을 제안하기 위한 기반을 마련하는 것이다. 연구 분석 결과, 유휴복합문화시설을 방문한 소비자들은 개조 단계에서 행위적 감성 요소를 가장 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났으며 원기능은 ‘표현적, 접근적, 역사적, 정체적’, 현기능은 ‘쾌적감, 스타일감, 매력감, 친밀감, 개방감’, 행위적 감성은 ‘깔끔한, 부드러운, 모던한, 다이나믹함, 동적인’으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유휴산업시설의 노후된 마감재에 의한 거부감을 원기능의 고전적인 감성 측면에 접근하여 소비자의 경험을 개선하고 공간의 콘셉트와 메시지를 전달하는 데 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 예술과 문화적 가치를 강조할 수 있는 것으로 공간을 재해석 할 수 있다.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, underutilized mixed-use cultural facilities are gaining various functions such as culture, art, education, dining, interaction, and communication through the introduction of diverse contents. This is leading to a notable transformation of the characteristics and identity of the respective regions. To ensure sustainable redevelopment, it is important to understand the impact of spatial elements, colors, and aging finishes on consumer sentiment. This study aims to extract and analyze the emotional aspects of idle mixed-use cultural facilities and identify consumer preferences, providing a foundation for suggesting appropriate spatial design directions. The analysis revealed that consumers prioritize behavioral-emotional aspects during the renovation phase, with distinctive original functions and appealing current functions. By addressing consumer aversion to aging finishes and emphasizing artistic and cultural values, the space can be reinterpreted and the consumer experience enhanced.
