This paper aims to discuss the possibility of development of contemporary street arts by connecting street art, that experiments with an active relationship with the audience, to immersive theatre through Erika Fischer-Lichte’s ‘performativity’. To mediate street art and immersive theatre, Lichte’s concept of shared bodies, shared spaces as the bodily co-presence of actors and spectators is applied. It was conceived from the idea that street art, which faces the audience without boundaries, has many similarities with the characteristics of immersive theatre that are revealed in a post-drama theater. The series of 「Yeonhui Ghost Story」created by Nolplus is investigated as an example of exploring the possibility of development to the contemporary street arts. The ‘Immersive street art’ is defined as embracing audience participation through active choices and intervention at a close distance between the performer and the audience.
