The purpose of the study was to develop a middle school climate change education materials using local environmental resources, and to applyed the program. This study designed developing framework of climate change education program for using local resources and was related with 2015 revised curriculum. This educational material consisted of two themes: wetland education and marine education. The climate change education improve understanding of climate change and environmental literacy of cognitive domain. Although environmental literacy of affective domain and psychomotor domain didn’t improve, It showed positive effects in details such as environmental attitude and healthy consumption. The result of this study will serve to activate climate change education for using local resources if we strengthen the link among knowledge, attitude, and practice, complement the emotional approach in activities and consider the long-term operation of the program.
