연구 목적: 다문화 청소년이 지각한 부모 방임적 양육태도가 학업중단의도에 미치는 영향에서 이중문화수용태도와 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개효과를 확인하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법: 한국청소년정책연구원의 ‘다문화청소년패널조사’ 8차년도 자료를 SPSS 21.0과 Process Macro 4.1을 이용해 빈도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 매개효과 분석을 수행 하였다. 연구 내용: 부모의 방임적 양육태도가 다문화 청소년 학업중단의도에 미치는 영향, 그리고 이들 간 관계에서 이중문화수용태도, 자아존중감 각각의 매개효과와 이중문화수용태도와 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개효과를 알아본다. 결론 및 제언: 다문화 청소년 학업중단의도에 대한 부모 방임적 양육태도의 영향력이 유의하였다. 부모 방임적 양육태도와 학업중단의도 간 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과, 이중문화수용태도와 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개효과가 유의하였다. 본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 학업중단문제 관련 대책을 마련하는데 중요한 함의를 제공하였다.

This study was to examine the role for intention of school dropout of multicultural adolescents in terms of parenting attitude, bicultural acceptance and self-esteem. For this purpose, the data of adolescents who participated in the 8th year survey of the ‘Multicultural Adolescent Panel Study’ established by the National Youth Policy Institute was analyzed for descriptive statistics, correlation, and serial multiple mediation analysis using SPSS 21.0 and PROCESS macro 4.1. First, it was found that parenting attitude had a significant effect on intention of school dropout. Second, it was found that self-esteem mediated the relationship between parenting attitude and intention of school dropout. Third, in the effect of parenting attitude on multicultural adolescents’ intention of school dropout, it was found that bicultural acceptance and self-esteem mediate it in series. On the basis of above findings, the practical implications to prevent the intention of school dropout were suggested.
