Purpose This research aims to optimize hydrogen charging station locations in Seoul in 2025 by considering traffic volume and installation cost, providing basic data for the government's hydrogen infrastructure plans. Methods The Goal Programming method was used to develop a model that considers installation cost and the target value of hydrogen charging stations in high traffic areas. Results The study found that the optimal location of hydrogen charging stations in Seoul in 2025 depends on the scenario selected. The model suggests a trade-off between installation cost and traffic volume when selecting optimal locations, with installation cost being a critical factor. Conclusion Optimizing hydrogen charging station locations is crucial for revitalizing the Hydrogen fueled vehicle market in Seoul. The study provides a comprehensive model that considers traffic volume and installation cost to select optimal locations in 2025.
