이 글은 부사적 쓰임을 보이는 ‘아무래도’와 ‘아무려면(아무렴)’을 대상으로 형성과정과 쓰임에 대해 살피고, 그 품사적 지위와 사전에서의 처리 방안에 대해서 살피는 것을 목적으로 한다. ‘아무래도’는 통사적 구성인 ‘아무리 하여도’에 의한 ‘아무래도₁’과 활용형 ‘아무러하여도’에 의한 ‘아무래도₂’가 있다. 표준국어대사전에서는 현재 ‘아무래도₁’을 부사로, ‘아무래도₂’를 준말로 처리하고 있다. 부사 ‘아무러면’과 감탄사 ‘아무려면(아무렴)’은 유사한 어형을 가진 것을 고려하면 형성과정도 어느 정도 관련성이 있어 보인다. 이 ‘아무려면(아무렴)’은 반어의문문과 어울려 쓰이기도 하는데, 이때는 부사 ‘아무러면’과 쓰임에서 큰 차이가 없다. 이에 ‘아무래도₂’는 형태의 고정성을, ‘아무려면(아무렴)’은 수식언으로서의 기능을 인정하여 이 둘을 부사로 보고자 하였다. 더불어, 표준국어대사전의 편찬지침에 따라 ‘아무래도₂’는 표제어 ‘아무래도’아래 다의어로서 부사 ‘아무래도₁’과 함께 제시해 보았다. ‘아무려면(아무렴)’과 ‘아무러면’은 ‘아무리’와 ‘암만’의 사전 기술에서 실마리를 찾았는데, ‘아무려면(아무렴)’을 부사, 감탄사 품사통용으로 처리하고, 유의어로 부사 ‘아무러면’을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the formation process and adverbial use of ‘amuraedo’ and ‘amuryeomyeon(amuryeom)’. This study also aimed to examine their parts of speech status and how to process them in the dictionary There are two forms of ‘amuraedo’: ‘amuraedo1’ with a syntactic composition of ‘amuri hayeodo’ and ‘amuraedo2’ in a conjugated form of ‘amureohayeodo’. In the standard Korean dictionary, ‘amuraedo1’ is currently treated as an adverb and ‘amuraedo2’ as a shortened word. Considering the similar word types of the adverb ‘amureomyeon’ and the exclamation ‘amuryeomyeon(amuryeom)’ their formation process seems to be somewhat related. The ‘amuryeomyeon(amuryeom)’ shows no significant difference in its use from the adverb ‘amureomyeon’ when used in conjunction with rhetorical questions. Accordingly, ‘amuraedo2’ recognized the fixedness of the form, and ‘amuryeomyeon (amuryeom)’ recognized the function as a modifier, I tried to view these two as adverbs. In addition, in accordance with the compilation guidelines of the standard Korean dictionary, ‘amuraedo2’ is presented as a polysemy with the adverb ‘amuraedo1’ under the headword of ‘amuraedo’. Clues were found for ‘amuryeomyeon(amuryeom)’ and ‘amureomyeon’ in the dictionary description of ‘amuri’ and ‘amman’. I presented ‘amuryeomyeon(amuryeom)’ as an adverb and an exclamation together with ‘amureomyeon’ as a synonym.
