Tamuldan is said to have been secretly organized in Beijing April 14, 1925. Its founders include Bae Chun Taek and Kim Sae Jun. The following is its features:
First, Tamuldan used to have its headquarters in Beijing. During the Japanese colonial rule, most of Koreas independence activists worked in Shanghai. That is why the fact that Tamuldan flourished in Beijing restrained their activity boundaries.
Second, while independence groups in Beijing focused on propaganda, Tamuldan centered on righteous terrorist activities. At that time, Koreans living in Beijing were composed of dissidents, students and citizens. Such an alliance of Korean independence activists worked on solidarity with Chinese, propaganda and righteous terrorist activities. Against this backdrop, Tamuldan performed righteous terrorism, uniting with Shin Chae ho and You Ja Myung. Based on this line, Tamuldan killed Kim Dal ha.
Third, Tamuldan made no specific comment on their political line. In fact, looking at the members political predisposition, they must have sought communism (republicanism). Not only that, to a certain extent, the group formed alliance with You Ja Myung, Shin Chae Ho and Lee Hea Young, giving a clue that there was some anarchistic mood as well. However, rather than focusing on specific ideologies, the group members emphasized on righteous terrorist activities.
Fourth, Tamuldan and Kukmin Party (Peoples Party) formed approximately in 1923 were united on the occasion of Kim Dal Has execution in March 1925. Their aim was to strengthen their Anti-Japanese movement by stepping up the efforts to overcome their own weaknesses.
Fifth, Tamuldan was trying to form alliance with independence groups in Manchuria instead of the government in exile in Shanghai. It is worth looking at their alliance with Kim Dang Sam in particular, and the collusion with the Righteousness Department of Dae Han and another Righteousness Department. However, more research is required for this.
Sixth, Tamuldans main activities were to execute Pro-Japanese activist, Kim Dal ha, to send the Declaration of executing Pro-Japanese to major newspapers and to fundraise for independence at home.
