The socialist movement in 1920’s is to be understood on the premise of correctly evaluating the relations between communist groups and ideology-organizations by factions and recomposing their activities. In the past, the factions named after ideologic groups which surfaced such as Tuesday group, Bukpoong(North Wind) group, Seoul group, Labor party group, etc. were recognized as communist groups, but the fact is not so. Socialist ideology-organizations were representative surface organizations to lawfully promote the public activity of each communist group, but one of various organizations guided by the group at the same time.
It is true of the Chosun Labor Party. The Chosun Labor Party, a socialist ideologic-group, formed in August 1924, was composed by leaders of the "Chosun Labor Party” and the "Chosun Spartacus Party”, which were secrete communist organization while maintaining the independence of their secrete organization. Behind them came into play the experience in the national movement activities in 1910’s and the exchange relationships formed in the study of socialism in the region of Russia in early 1920s.
The Chosun Labor Party participated in "The four Group Cooperation Committee” with Tuesday group when the central force of the Spartacus Party had fled to Russia and other regions due to the oppression of the Japanese police. The central figures were Jeon Il, Lee Chung-Mo, Kim Yeon-Hee and Lee Geuk-Gwang. By the way, as the truth of which Chosun Communist Party requested the approval from Comintern was revealed, cooperation of four group was collapsed and the Chosun Labor Party was divided. Chosun Spartacus Party took control of the Chosun Labor Party and exerted influence on the socialist movement in Korea thereafter.
The Spartacus Party which was the ruling body of the Chosun Labor Party participated in "The alliance of Seo-Buk-No 3 groups which were agreed on in Vladivostok to organize a unified communist party of Chosun, and tried to combine communist groups into one based on a unified political platform. Such claim was consistent from the generation of the Chosun Labor Party to its extinction. On the other hand, communist groups and national revolution organizations tried to develop national liberation movements under the direction for organizing a unified national party, but the results were insignificant.
The Chosun Labor Party participated in the struggle over the national cooperation front staged before or after the foundation of "Singanhoe". Their basic position was to consolidate a single proletariat and to legally progress cooperation front with national movement in it. As for the dissolution of ideology-organization, Chosun Labor Party continued in opposition to the division of ideology-organization until the middle of 1927 while claiming for the establishment of a single front, it is understood that the party had claimed "the theory of a unified ideology-organization”
