본 연구는 코로나-19 전후 중학생의 공동체 의식, 부모자녀 간 의사소통, 스마트기기 사용 시간, 학교폭력과의 관계를 비교 분석하여 코로나-19 이후 학교폭력 실태를 규명하고, 온·오프라인 교육으로 진화하는 시대적 상황에 맞는 다양한 학교폭력 예방 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산교육종단연구 4차년도, 5차년도 중학생 데이터를 활용하여 대응표본 t-test분석과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 2020년은 공동체의식을 제외한 스마트기기 사용 시간, 부모자녀 간 의사소통, 학교폭력이 2019년보다 증가한 것으로 확인되었다. 스마트기기 사용시간은 코로나-19 전후 모두 공동체 의식에 큰 영향력을 발휘하였다. 2019년에는 스마트기기 사용시간이 학교폭력에 직접적으로 영향을 주었으며, 공동체 의식과 부모자녀 간 의사소통인 매개효과는 없는 것으로 드러났다. 2020년은 모든 간접경로가 유의하게 나타나며 스마트기기 사용시간은 부모자녀 간 의사소통을 매개로 하여 공동체 의식에 부정적 영향력을 발휘한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 코로나-19 시대 부모자녀 간 의사소통과 공동체 의식이 줄어들며 학교폭력에 영향을 미친 것으로 설명할 수 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교폭력 예방을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study compared and analyzed the relationship between community consciousness, communication between parents and children before and after COVID-19, smart device usage time, and school violence to identify the status of school violence after COVID-19 and seek various ways to prevent school violence. To this end, a structural equation model analysis was conducted using data from middle school students in 2019 and 2020 of the Busan Education Longitudinal Study. Smart device usage time had a great influence on community consciousness both before and after COVID-19. In 2019, smart device usage time directly affected school violence, and it was found that there was no mediating effect between community consciousness and communication between parents and children. In 2020, all indirect routes were significant, and it was found that smart device usage time had a negative impact on community consciousness through communication between parents and children. During the COVID-19 era, communication and community awareness between parents and children decreased, which can be explained as affecting school violence.
