본 연구는 침략전쟁시기(1937~1945) 주로 해외 친일 조선인이 수용한 ‘반서구 제국주의’ 논리의 구조를 살피고 그러한 인식에서 파생된 각종 침략편승 논리가 실제로 조선민족의 이익선과 어떤 형식으로 결합하고 있는지 나아가 그러한 입장에서 그들의 ‘침략편승의 행적’들이 어떻게 유형화될 수 있는지 검토하고자 했다 1930년대 후반부터 크게 고창된 조선인 사회의 반서구ㆍ반제 담론은 단순한 ‘일제에 대한 맹목적 추종’의 결과로 볼 수 없는 그 자체로 조선인의 내면적 요구를 담고 있는 민족이론이었던 것으로 보인다. 그러한 담론은 엘리트(친일 조선인 및 자산가 그룹)만의 생각에 그치는 것이 아니라 일반 대중의 보다 구체적인 삶의 혁신을 기대하던 일부 하층 조선인에게도 공명을 얻었던 것 같다. 그렇다면 왜 이러한 반서구 담론에 공명하고 그 속에서 삶의 실천목표를 찾으려 했을까. 어쩌면 완전한 민족해방에 대한 현실적 장애를 명확히 확인했을 때 나타나는 또 다른 형태의 자치주의적 혹은 차별탈피를 위한 대안일 수 있었다. 그것이 유난히 1940년대 반제 담론을 활성화시킨 것은 침략전쟁에서 나름의 역할을 할 수 있는 기회가 나타났기 때문이다. 그래서인지 이러한 반서구 담론으로 인해 표면의 텍스트인 친일과 내면의서 브텍스트인 민족간의 경계선이 교란되었다. 오늘날의 눈으로 보면 그들 해외 친일파의 행위는 대단히 유감스럽고 반민족적인 것이지만 당시로선 ‘일부’ 하층 조선인 사회에서도 그들의 말이 설득력 있게 들렸던 것으로 보인다. 어느 정도 깊숙이 이런 담론이 내면화된 것인지는 추후 보다 심도 있는 실증이 요하지만 적어도 상층 조선인 자산가 그룹에 한정된 담론만은 아니었다. 요컨대 1940년대 친일인사들의 반제국주의 이념은 반제ㆍ반파시즘에 기초한 우리 민족해방운동의 지향점과는 거리가 멀다. 그리고 명백한 민족적 배신이었지만 이제 그들이 가졌던 당대의 ‘주체적 고민’이나 ‘서브 텍스트’에 대한 객관적 검토는 적극적으로 이뤄져야 할 단계가 아닌가 한다.

This thesis is concerned about “Anti-imperialism discourse” structure and the war-support misconduct of overseas Korean pro-Japs in Aggressive war time( 1937~1945). And how we can typed the active war-support conduct of overseas Korean pro-Japs. When I saw the “Down with he Western imperialism!” slogan at first, I did it just for Japanese imperialists fun for deceiving the colonial korean mobilization But It is quite strangely that Korean pro-japs should advocate “Anti-imperialism” frantically, for what reason, they roused Korean audience to 'anti-western enthusiasm' Why they became war-collaborators. Pro-japs asserted that their “patriotic sentiment” was true in spite of being under indictment on anti-democratic，anti-national crime in pro-Japs trial in 1949. I wonder why they as said above in spite of many evident proof remained on trial table. And they pleaded pacific war as “asian self-defense war.” Then I thought ‘there is no solid foundation for their justification, Now become different. I wanted to analyze the cause of their true misconduct and heart at that time. This pro-Japs ‘Anti-westem’ argument spreaded throughout the Korean bourgeoisie since Manchuria-Wax( 1931). The war excited korean capitalist s curiosity about Manchuria (Manchuria rush). China-Japan War(1937) Korean propertied classes made complete volte-face(China rush). And they have a firm belief that 'resistance to western’ taked the first rank-ing among the greatest powers of Asia. Why they became the apostate, Henceforth, they want promote their common interests at all costs, they the Korean bourgeoisie regarded the pacific wartime as unique chance of the regeneration of Korean nation, revival of an a national pride and taking off the mask of racial discrimination. Korean capitalist assisted Japan invasion on S Asia. And also, they claimed ‘the autonomous rights on Korea and prohibition of racial discriminiation’. Thereupon, they inspire ‘mutational’ patriotism into the hearts of the Korean реoplе. Thе 1 million 400 thousand korean people made inroads into the Japanese occupied-territory during Invasion-wartime. Especially Korean Capitalist aimed to industrial materials manufacturing and Necessities market into overseas markets. But they turned out to be cheated and failed by Japanese.
