본 연구의 목적은 2022 카타르 월드컵을 중심으로 해설자 공신력, 시청자 즐거움, 채널 몰입 및 채널 충성도 간의 관계를 파악하는 것이다. 2022년 11월 25일부터 12월 19일까지 지상파 방송사를 통해 카타르 월드컵 중계방송을 시청한 경험이 있는 만 19세 이상 성인 270명을 대상으로 편의표본추출법을 활용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 총 209부의 유효표본에 대해 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 첫째, 해설자의 전문성은 시청자 즐거움에 긍정적인 영향을 끼쳤다. 둘째, 신뢰성은 채널 몰입에 정적인 영향을 끼쳤으며, 역동성은 채널 몰입에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 시청자 즐거움은 채널 몰입에 유의한 영향을 끼쳤다. 마지막으로 시청자 즐거움과 채널 몰입은 채널 충성도에 정적인 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 즐거움과 채널 몰입에 영향을 줄 수 있는 해설자의 전문성과 신뢰성을 높여준다면, 궁극적으로 지속적인 해당 채널에 대한 시청을 이끌 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between commentator credibility, viewer enjoyment, channel commitment, and channel loyalty, focusing on the 2022 Qatar World Cup. From November 25 to December 18, 2022, 270 adults aged 19 or older who watched Qatar World Cup broadcasts through terrestrial broadcasters were collected using convenience sampling, and a total of 209 samples were finally used for frequency, confirmation factor, reliability, and structural equation modeling analyses. As a result, first, expertise of the commentator had a positive effect on viewer enjoyment. Second, reliability had a positive effect on channel commitment, but dynamism had a negative effect on channel commitment. Third, viewer enjoyment had a significant impact on channel commitment. Lastly, it was found that viewer enjoyment and channel commitment had a positive effect on channel loyalty. Therefore, if the commentator’s expertise and reliability that can affect pleasure and channel commitment are increased, it will ultimately lead to continuous viewing of the channel.
