이 연구는 제주 대정고등학교(2018∼2020학년도 고교학점제연구학교 지정·운영)에서 2015 개정 교육과정을 기반으로 2018학년도부터 운영하고 있는 고교학점제를 살펴보고, 고교학점제가 전면 도입되는 2022 개정 교육과정 적용 후의학교 교육 변화 모습을 연계하여 제시하였다. 선택형 교육과정의 적극적 운영을 통한 학생 맞춤형 교육과정으로의 변화, 학생 참여형 수업 확대 및 다양한 융합수업 전개, 활동 중심의 창의적 체험활동 확대를 통한 수업의 변화, 성취평가제 운영 및 학생 책임지도 강화를 통한 평가의 변화 등과 관련한 대정고등학교의 사례를 구체적으로 분석하고, 고교학점제가 전면 도입된 후의 모습을 제시하며, 이와 관련하여 미래형 교사 양성에 대해 제언하였다.
