이 논문은 창작동요에서 노랫말에 해당하는 동요시를 문학적인 관점에서 미적 특성을 논의하고 있다. 일반적으로 전래동요에서의 동요시는 대구와 분절을 형식적 특징으로 하고, 미성숙한 어린이를 계몽하는 내용으로 이루어져 있다. 하지만 근대 이후 창작동요에서 동요시의 형식은 대구와 분절이 해체되고 있다. 여기에는 동요가 작곡을 통해 리듬을 부여하는 장르의 특성이 반영되어 있다. 대구 같은 리듬 형성 요인이 사라지더라도 곡을 붙여서 가창하는 데 어려움이 없다는 뜻이다. 반면 내용상으로는 여전히 계몽의 시선을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 이는 창작동요의 가창 및 향유 계층이 어린이이고, 창작동요를 통해 어린이에게 전달하고 싶은 메시지가 전근대적인 차원에 머물러 있다는 뜻이다. 동요시가 어린이의 마음, 즉 동심을 담아내는 동요의 목표와 거리가 먼 것이다. 이에 따라 이 논문에서는 창작동요에서 동요시가 랩 동요 같은 동시대 어린이의 일상과 상상을 반영하는 형식과 내용을 갖추어야 함을 제안하였다.

This paper discusses children’s song poetry from a literary perspective in creative children’s songs. In general, children’s songs in traditional children’s songs consist of couplet and segmentation as formal features, and the content of enlightening immature children. However, since modern times, the form of children’s song poetry in creative children’s songs has been dismantled in couplet and the division. This reflects the characteristics of the genre in which children’s songs give rhythm through composition. This means that even if rhythm-forming factors such as couplet disappear, there is no difficulty in singing by attaching songs. On the other hand, in terms of content, it still does not escape the gaze of enlightenment. This means that the singing class of creative children’s songs is children, and the message that they want to convey to children through creative children’s songs remains at a pre-modern level. This is far from the goal of children’s songs, which requires children’s hearts, that is, children’s minds. Accordingly, this paper suggested that children’s songs should have a format and content that reflects the daily life and imagination of contemporary children such as rap children’s songs in creative children’s songs.
