연구 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 국내 대학의 교양교육과정 체계와 구성 사례를 탐색하는 것이다. 연구 방법: 연구의 수행 과정에서 최종적으로 2023년 3-4월 중에 국내 대학의 학교 요람과 홈페이지 등을 조사하였고 교양교육과정에 대한 특징적인 부분을 확인하여 24개의 대학 사례를 제시하였다. 연구 내용: 분석 대상 대학의 교양교육과정 체제 및 요소, 학점 양상, 계열/단과대학 별 구성 등을 중심으로 제시하였다. 결론 및 제언: 연구 결과, 첫째, 대학들은 교양교육과정의 영역을 2~4개 정도로 구성하면서 기초교양에 있어 의사소통 등 공통적인 요소를 포함하면서도 차별화되는 내용들을 반영하고 있었다. 둘째, 균형교양에서 여러 분야를 선택하여 수강하게 하는 체제가 기본이었고 타 계열의 과목을 교차 수강하게 하는 경우도 있었다. 또한 계열 교양 등의 구성 체계 등에 있어 여러 유형을 보여주었다. 본 연구를 토대로 현 시점의 대학 교양교육과정 체계 사례를 확인하고 구성 및 운영에 대한 쟁점을 도출할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the liberal arts curriculum structure and composition cases of domestic universities. In order to conduct the study, the booklets and homepages of domestic universities were finally investigated during March-April 2023, and the characteristic parts of the liberal arts curriculum were identified and cases of about 24 universities were presented. The liberal arts curriculum system and detailed contents of the analysis target university were presented. As a result of the study, first, universities organized two to four areas of liberal arts curriculum, including common elements such as communication in basic education, but reflected differentiated contents. Second, the system of selecting and taking various fields in balanced liberal arts was basic, a system that allows students to select and take various fields in balanced liberal arts was basic, and there were cases where they were allowed to cross-take other classes. In addition, it showed various in the composition system affiliated liberal arts. Based on this study, it will be possible to identify the cases of the university liberal arts curriculum system at this time and derive issues on composition and operation.
