연구 목적: 본 연구는 번역수업에서 나타나는 원천어 칭찬에 대한 목표어 반응번역 접근법을 분석하여, 이문화 간 화행전략의 차이점을 살펴본다. 연구 방법: 다양한 영상의 대사자막 번역전략 양상을 공손 담화완성형 텍스트인 DCT 기준에 따라 분석하고, 번역 오류사례를 기능적 관점에서 분류한다. 연구 내용: 영상 속 원천대사표현을 상위전략 및 하위전략 관점에서 영상번역사례를 검증한다. 결론 및 제언: 이문화 간 칭찬반응 표현의 특징, 번역전략, 이문화 간 상이성의 정당성을 제시하고 번역교육에서 영상번역에서의 칭찬반응화행의 상호맥락성의 중요성을 논한다.

This research explored intercultural discourse strategies on polite compliments and responses in translation courses. To elicit data, discourse completion tasks were primarily employed for analysis, and the authentic audiovisual translation outputs and error translations were classified. Furthermore, the cases were examined through speech act classification, clarifying the fulfillment of translational orientation. Based on the findings, intercultural disparities, translational strategies on politeness, and functional justifications were discussed for naturalness. In conjunction with the functionality of audiovisual translation, the presence or lack of intercontextuality was considered when it came to the receptors’ cognitive effect.
