본 연구에서는 의미적 연관성이 있는 단어 쌍들의 통사 기능, 결합 논항 등의 통사적 양상에 대한 논의를 진행하였다. 연구 대상은 유의관계와 반의관계에 놓여 있는 형용사로 한정하였으며, 형태론적 유의어, 음운론적 유의어, 등급 반의어로 의미 유형을 나누어 각 유형에 해당하는 단어 쌍들을 선정하였다. 단어 쌍의 통사적 양상을 확인하기 위해 <현대 국어 말뭉치>에서 각 단어가 사용된 텍스트를 추출하여 통사 기능, 논항의 의미 등을 비교, 대조하였다. 그 결과 각 유의어, 반의어 쌍들의 유사성 정도를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 세 의미 유형의 유사도 역시 산출할 수 있었는데 등급 반의어 유형의 유사도가 평균적으로 가장 높았으며 다음으로 형태론적 유의어, 음운론적 유의어 유형이 그 뒤를 이었다.

This paper examines discussions about syntactic aspects in relation to syntactic function and argument of pairs of words that have semantic relations. The subject is an adjectives in synonymous relation and antonymous relation, We divided semantic types into morphologic synonym, phonological synonym, gradable antonym and choose pair of words corresponding to each type. To investigate syntactic aspects of word pairs, we analyzed degree of similarity between pairs of synonym and antonym by comparing and contrasting syntactic aspects of words extracted from < Modern Korean Corpora >. We could evaluate similarity of three semantic types that gradable antonym was the highest on average, followed by morphologic synonym and the lowest was phonological synonym.
