이 연구는 제한된 특별한 관심을 활용한 교육적 지원 요소의 중요도와 실행도에 대한 특수교사들의 인식 정도는 어떠한지, 그리고 이러한 인식의 정도는 교사의 연령이나 성별, 교직 경력, 최종학력에 따라 차이가 있는지, 혹은 교육기관의 특성에 따라 차이가 있는지를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 실행되었다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충청 지역의 특수교사 294명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 본 설문에 참여한 특수교사들은 제한된 특별한 관심을 활용한 교육적 지원 요소가 자폐성 장애 학생들을 교육하기 위하여 ‘매우 중요하다’고 인식하고 있었으며, 실행 수준은 ‘비교적 잘하고 있다’고 응답하여, 전반적으로 중요도에 대한 인식 수준이 실행 수준에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사 변인에 따른 중요도 인식수준과 실행수준을 살펴본 결과 중요도 인식에서는 성별에 따른 집단 간 차이가 있었으나 연령, 교직경력, 최종학력에 따른 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 그에 반해 실행 수준에서는 교직 경력과 최종학력에 따른 집단 간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 교직경력과 최종학력이 높을수록 실행 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 교육기관의 특성에 따른 집단 간 차이를 분석한 결과에서는 집단 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과에 근거하여 교육실행에 관련한 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the special education teacher’s perception of importance and the implementation level of instructional factors using circumscribed special interest For this purpose, 294 special teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong provinces were surveyed. The results can be summarized as follows. First, the special teachers recognized that the instructional factors using circumscribed special interest. was ‘very important’, but the level of implementation was slicely lower than the perception level of importance. Second, as a result of examining the difference in the degree of importance and implementation level of instructional factors using circumscribed special interest, the degree of perception was significantly higher than the implementation level. Third, there were significant differences between the groups according to age, career and education of participants. In other words, the longer the teaching career and the higher education, the level of implementation was higher. Fourth, there was no differences between the groups according to the characteristics of the educational institutions. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions related to the implementation of education.
