유아특수교사의 개별화교육계획 수행 과정과 팀 협력에 대한 질적 연구

본 연구의 목적은 유아특수교사의 개별화교육계획 수행 과정과 이 과정에서 유아특수 교사와 관련 전문가의 협력 실태를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 본 연구를 위하여 특수교육 대상 유아를 교육하는 다양한 교육 환경에 근무하는 유아특수교사 7명을 대상으로 질적 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 내용을 분석한 결과, 1) IEP 수행 과정, 2) IEP 수행 시 팀 협력, 3) 어려움과 요구와 같은 3개의 대주제와 10개의 하위 주제가 도출되었다. 연구 결과에 대한 분석을 토대로 협력적인 IEP 팀 구성과 수행, 팀 협력을 촉진하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate how the early childhood special educators perform the IEP development and implement and collaborate with team members during IEP process. In this research, 7 early childhood special educators from various educational settings for young children with special needs have been interviewed individually. Analyzing the interview, 3 main themes and 9 subthemes were derived. The main themes were 1) IEP process, 2) team collaboration during IEP process, 3) difficulties and support needs. Based upon the results, to promote IEP process and team collaboration during IEP process several suggestions were presented 1)systematic support for IEP process and team collaboration is needed to ensure the quality of early childhood special education regardless of the type of educational settings, 2) provision of curricular for collaboration related instruction in the pre-service and in-service program to facilitate team collaboration is required, 3) provision of the administrative support by the directors such as time to communications among team members, reduction of the teacher child ratio in inclusive classroom, and flexibility on release of the information is essential for successful IEP process and team collaboration.
