본 연구의 목적은 특수교육에서 집단실험설계 논문을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시한 연구의 보고 수준이 어떠한지 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2011년에서 2020년 9월까지 최근 10년간 특수교육 관련 학술지에 게재된 메타분석 논문 19편을 선정기준에 따라 분석대상 논문으로 선정하였다. 수집된 논문은 APA 메타분석 보고 기준에서 제시한 연구 제목, 요약, 서론, 연구 방법, 연구 결과, 논의 등 6개 항목으로 구분하여 기술 여부에 따라 분석하고 빈도와 백분율로 제시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 제목 및 요약에 대한 보고 수준은 평균 60.6%로 나타났으며, 연구 제목에 대한 보고 수준은 100%, 요약에 대한 보고 수준은 52.7%로 나타났다. 둘째, 서론에 대한 보고 수준은 평균 85.5%로 대체로 적합한 수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 방법에 대한 보고 수준은 평균 58.5%로 분석 영역 중 가장 미흡한 수준으로 나타났으며, 코딩 절차(39.0%)나 문헌 탐색 전략(49.5%), 통계 방법(62.1%)에서 미흡한 보고 수준을 보였다. 넷째, 연구 결과에 대한 보고 수준은 평균 71.4%로 어느 정도 적합한 수준을 보였다. 다섯째, 논의에 대한 보고 수준은 평균 90.4%로 다른 영역들에 비해 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 특수교육에서 메타분석 연구 수행의 필요성과 메타분석 연구가 타당한 절차에 따라 적용될 수 있도록 구체적인 자료를 제공한 점에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine what the reporting level of the meta-analysis of the group experiment design paper in special education is reported. To this end, 19 meta-analysis articles published in special education journals for the past 10 years from 2011 to 2020 were selected as the subject of analysis according to the selection criteria. The collected papers were analyzed according to whether they were described in six items, such as the research subject, abstract, introduction, research method, research results, and discussion suggested in the APA meta-analysis reporting criteria and presented in frequency and percentage. The results of the study are as follows. First, the report level on the research subject and abstract was 60.6% on average, the report level on the research subject was 100%, and the report level on the abstract was 52.7%. Second, the reporting level on the introduction was an average of 85.5%, which was fairly appropriate. Third, the reporting level of the research method was 58.5% on average, which was the least in the analysis areas. By detailed category, the reporting level was insufficient with 39.0% of the coding procedure, 49.5% of the literature search strategy, and 62.1% of the statistical method. Fourth, the reporting level of the research results was 71.4% on average, which was comparatively appropriate. Fifth, the level of reporting on discussion was 90.4% on average, which was higher than that of other areas. This study is meaningful in that it provides specific basic data so that meta-analysis research needs to be conducted in special education and that meta-analysis research can be applied according to a reasonable procedure.
