연구 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 스마트 러닝 교육체계에서 유튜브를 활용한 교육방법에 관한 실제 수업사례를 통해 유튜브 동영상의 교육콘텐츠로써의 가치를 제시하는 것이다. 연구 방법: 국내 C대학교의 수업사례를 통해 유튜브의 수업활용과 학습효과를 알아보았다. 연구 내용: 유튜브를 통해 교수자는 손쉽게 동영상 자료를 확보할 수 있다. 유튜브 동영상은 학습자에게 재미있고 유익한 학습도구이다. 유튜브 활용은 학생들의 인식을 개선해주고, 학습에 대한 흥미유발을 가져왔음을 실제 수업사례를 통해 알 수 있었다. 결론 및 제언: 교수자가 맡은 수업의 내용과 운영방식, 수강생수, 강의실 환경, 강의유형 등에 따라서 유튜브 활용에 대한 방식과 종류는 다양하게 나뉠 수 있다. 교수자는 사전에 면밀한 수업준비를 통해 유튜브 콘텐츠를 선정해야 할 것이다.

This study aims to present YouTube videos’ value as educational contents through a case study using YouTube in the smart learning education system. Through the case of C university in Korea, the using YouTube classes and learning effects were studied. Instructors can easily secure video materials at YouTube. YouTube videos are fun and useful learning tools for learners. Using YouTube improved students’ awareness and aroused interest in learning. The methods and types of how to use YouTube depend on the contents and operation methods of class, the number of students, the classroom environment, and the type of lecture. Instructors will have to select YouTube contents through careful class preparation in advance.
