研究者は、教育課程で提示している世界市民意識の涵養という目的と日本語教育との関連性を貢献点とし、今後の中等教育を担う教師志望者を対象に、SDGsを融合した日本語教育教科目新設をのための基礎研究を行った。それは、SDGsに対する日本語専攻学部生の知識、態度、行動の相関関係分析を通じて、日本語教育においてSDGsを活用するための方法を模索しようとしたものである。 研究結果から、知識が行動に直接的影響を及ぼさないことがわかったが、知識が高いほど態度に正的影響を及ぼし、また肯定的態度が高いほど実践的行動力が高いということが明らかになった。この結果から、日本語関連専攻学生のSDGsに対する行動実践レベル、特に貧困終息、奉仕、ミーニングアウトなどに関連する実践力を高めるためには、SDGsに関する知識を高めることが主要な変数であることが分かった。

This study tried to find a way to utilize SDGs in Japanese language education by analyzing the correlation between the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of undergraduate students majoring in the Japanese language about SDGs. This study also examined the relationship and contribution between the purpose of fostering global citizenship in the curriculum and Japanese language education to pre-service teachers in charge of secondary education as a basic study for the establishment of Japanese education subject fusing SDGs, As a result of the study, although knowledge did not directly affect behavior, the more knowledge students have, the more positive attitude they affect, and the higher positive attitude they have, the higher practical action they do. It was found that raising knowledge of SDGs is a major variable to increase the level of behavioral practice especially related to ending poverty, service, and belief consumption on SDGs by students majoring in Japanese.
