A Study on the Analysis of De-motivation and Re-motivation Factors for Korean Language Learning among Korean Language Majors in Taiwan

In this study, the experiences of de-motivation and re-motivation in Korean language learning were investigated for Korean language students in Taiwan through questionnaire surveys and individual interviews, and the results were analyzed. As a result, the dismotivation rate of Korean language majors in Taiwan is 2.21, which can be seen as relatively low. In the analysis of demotivation factors, the academic burden factor was the highest and the factor about Korean society and culture was the lowest. The average remotivation was 3.9, which was relatively high, and in the analysis by factor, the travel orientation factor was the highest and the teacher and textbook factor was the lowest.
