The new US government in Trump Administration has very different trade philosophy from the previous one. Its trade policy is best described by the concept of Economic Nationality. Issues on US conservative trade measures such as Antidumping/Counterveiling taxes, AFA/PMS, and NAFTA renegotiation are reviewed in the paper. The statistical estimation on the isolated effect of KORUS FTA on the exports of BUSAN shows that 16.1% of the total exports are due to the KORUS FTA. The survey on the price elasticity shows that 27.0% of firms has less than one. This reflects that 72.0% of firms relies on price competitiveness subject to tariff condition. Busan local government needs to adapt to this new trade environment.
