이 연구의 목적은 전통연희예술의 변화와 지속가능성을 위한 K-컬쳐 정책의 활용방안을 제시하는데 있다. 2000년대 들어와 급격히 글로벌 유행을 선도하게 된 한국의 대중문화를 기반으로‘한류’유행을 전 세계적으로 경험하게 된 한국은 소프트파워의 힘을 명확히 인식하였다. 세계인들의 한국 대중문화에 대한 관심이 이제는 전통문화에 대한 관심으로 확장되고 있어 이를 기회로 이용하여 한국 전통문화의 세계적인 전파에 더욱 힘 쓸 수 있는 환경을 맞이하게 되었다. 이에 전통연희예술 발전방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 전통연희 콘텐츠 중 학습과 전파가 쉬운 콘텐츠를 발굴한다. 둘째, 한국 대중문화 콘텐츠와 협업하여 창작 전통연희 콘텐츠를 제작하고 뉴미디어를 통한 홍보를 강화한다. 셋째, 지정학적으로 가까운 동남아시아 지역 국가와의 전통문화 교류 사업을 확대한다. 넷째, 국제 ODA 사업에 한국 전통연희 교육 및 보급사업을 지원한다. 다섯째, 정부는 경제적 비용 지원 보다 전통연희가 쉽게 보급 가능하도록 전통연희 글로벌 교육 플랫폼 형성을 지원한다. 이와 같은 방안을 기본 과제로 삼아 한국 전통연희의 보존 필요성을 제고한다면 한국 전통연희 발전과 활성화를 일으킬 수 있는 마중물의 성과를 일으킬 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to utilize K-culture policies for change and sustainability of traditional performing arts. Korea, who experienced the ‘Korean Wave’ worldwide, based on Korean popular culture, which rapidly took the lead in global trends in the 2000s, clearly recognized the power of soft power. People around the world's interest in Korean popular culture is now expanding into interest in traditional culture, and by using this as an opportunity, we are in an environment where we can make more efforts to spread Korean traditional culture worldwide. In this regard, the development plan for traditional performing arts is presented as follows. First, discover contents that are easy to learn and spread among Korean traditional performance contents. Second, we will collaborate with Korean pop culture contents to produce creative traditional performance contents and strengthen publicity through new media. Third, expand traditional cultural exchange projects with countries in Southeast Asia, which are geographically close. Fourth, support the education and dissemination of Korean traditional performances in international ODA projects. Fifth, the government supports the formation of a global education platform for traditional performance education so that traditional performance can be easily distributed rather than economic cost support. If we take such measures as a basic task and raise the need for preservation of Korean traditional performances, it will be possible to produce results that can lead to the development and revitalization of Korean traditional performances.
