The purpose of this study is to develop Backstreet Commercial Vitality indicators in Seoul and to describe it statistically. Accordingly, various processes of factor analysis could be described in detail. Finally, it was possible to devlop Commercial Vitality index of 1090 Backstreet commercial districts in Seoul. Through the comparison of the Commercial Vitality index by year, it was possible to observe the changes in Backstreet districts. This Backstreet Commercial Vitality index can be used as basic data that can be helpful to small business owners operating commercial activities in seoul Backstreet commercial district.
