In this paper, among the cases of ∇-marked Sino-Korean pronunciations in the Standard Korean Language Dictionary (1999), cases that reflect relatively early phonological strata of final pronunciations compared to the current literary reading system are examined. This paper points out that a number of the characteristics of the early Chinese phonological system are still reflected in modern Sino-Korean words.
