찬양은 하나님을 높이고 찬송하며 영광을 돌리는 음악으로 영적인 힘과 치유의 능력이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 찬양에 관한 목회자의 경험은 어떠하며 그 의미는 어떠한가를 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구 방법으로 알아보고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 2022년 2월 14일부터 시작하였고 찬양 사역의 경험이 있는 목회자 6인을 연구 참여자로 목적 표집하여 일대일 심층 면담 및 추가 면담으로 진행하였다. 분석 결과는 31개의 주제와 12개의 주제 모음, 4개의 범주로 구성되었다. 도출된 4개의 범주는 ‘성도로서의 정체성 인식’, ‘목회자의 사명감 고취’, ‘예배의 각성’, ‘공동체성의 강화’이다. 논의를 통해 찬양은 목회자와 성도들의 삶과 예배에 밀접한 영향을 미치고 있음을 탐구할 수 있었으며, 개인 내적, 외적, 영 적인 영역, 그리고 교회와 공동체, 예배에서 중요한 역할과 기능을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 는 목회자들의 찬양에 관한 생생한 경험을 심층적으로 인터뷰하고 그 의미를 분석하여 찬양의 가치에 관한 경험적 기반을 마련했다는 것에 의의가 있다. 또한, 성도들이 선호하고 공감하는 찬양곡들을 예배와 개인의 삶에서 바르게 적용될 수 있도록 성경적 관점에서 분별력을 가져야 할 것에 관한 시사 점을 제공한다.

Praise is music that exalts, praises, and glorifies God, and has spiritual strength and healing power. This study attempted to find out how the pastor's experiences in praise and its meaning through the Colaizzi phenomenological research method. Data collection began on February 14, 2022, and six pastors with experience in the praise ministry were purposely sampled as research participants and conducted through man-to-man in-depth interviews and additional interviews. Results consisted of 31 topics, 12 subject collections, and 4 categories. The four categories derived are the perception of identity as a saint, the promotion of the pastor's sense of mission, the awakening of worship, and the reinforcement of community. Through the results, it was possible to explore that praise has a close influence on the lives and worship of pastors and saints, and that it plays an important role and function in individual internal, external, and spiritual areas, and churches, communities, and worship. This study is meaningful in that it has prepared an empirical basis for the value of praise by analyzing the meaning of the pastors' vivid experiences. In addition, it is providing implications for the need to have discernment from a biblical perspective so that the songs of praise that the members prefer and sympathize with can be properly applied to worship and personal life.
